HEY THERE, SARAH HERE.
I am a designer, illustrator, and constant traveler based in Nashville, Tennessee. Discovering new cultures and styles has always been a main source of inspiration for my design. I studied design in Kentucky, Chicago, and Italy before returning home to Nashville as a creative professional in 2014.
After owning my own design and illustration business for two years, I joined the student team at LifeWay Christian Resources. Here I have been working with authors such as Priscilla Shirer, David Platt, Matt Chandler, and J.D. Greear to design Bible studies for almost four years now.
I balance my day job with personal creative work such as watercolor illustration, freelance design work, and whatever new craft I’ve discovered. I am always seeking out new mediums and discovering ways to blend art and design, challenging myself to adapt to whatever style best fits the message I’m conveying and the audience I’m reaching.
This design variation isn’t just about keeping me on my toes. Each new project is a challenge to reflect the client’s brand and message, whether that is an individual or a company, so that their products are a pure representation of who they are and what they want heard.
When I’m not working (and sometimes when I am), I am often on the road riding shotgun in my Jeep Wrangler: roof tent on top, my quirky Heinz 57 pooch in the backseat, and my Texan hubby at the wheel. Just changing things up and staying inspired.
