The Gospel Project for Students
In 2015, I designed my first commission for LifeWay students: a 6 by 6 foot circular timeline mural, created as a tool for youth groups using The Gospel Project as their Bible study materials.
After illustrating the mural, LifeWay brought me on full-time and I’ve created over 200 illustrations of the Bible as well as over 200 teaching posters, covering stories from Genesis to Revelation.

Watercolor Commissions
Watercolor has always been my favorite medium to illustrate with. I tend to prefer organic subjects painted with a bright, sometimes surreal color palette. My most recent watercolor commission was of a sweet, carrot-loving donkey, painted for Beth Moore’s Christmas present.

Murals
This 6 by 6 foot dome mural was painted for the house my mom helped build and design. Our family hails from Magnolia, Arkansas and have adopted the magnolia blossom as our family crest. Using this flower as inspiration, I painted the dome from the vantage point of someone climbing a Magnolia tree.
This mural, named “Roots,” represents a blend of both my family history and my husband’s. My husband’s family owns a large rose nursery in Tyler, TX (the rose capital of the world) and family hails from Magnolia, AR. I wanted to combine both of these in a natural, simple, subtle way. White contour lines on a light gray wall fit that bill perfectly.

Hand Lettering
One of my personal favorite art forms. I see letters as shapes and love taking on new challenges, adapting my font styles to fit different spaces. These days I am often taking on new hand lettering commissions, from signs to wall murals to chalkboard art.
